Love the article, seems like we have a tendency to get caught up in what makes us happy and we forget to give praise to those who are there for us. I have been truly blessed, I have a very good husband, I also find if I find fault with some of the things he does for me if he doesn't do them exactly the way I would have done them, he will never do that thing again. I have learned to praise him when he does little things and If they aren't exactly the way I like, I go back later and fix it when he isn't around. He never notices or at least he has never said anything. Love you and your wisdome.

This is a precious reminder of the importance of friendship and how valuable it is to God. Jesus considered his disciples his friends and brothers and said that the greatest measure of love is our willingness to lay down our lives for our friends. That means laying down our time, our plans, our agendas when we are needed and God calls us into service. Love in action. That's what it's all about!

These are great rules!!! We have similar ones and I always loved how shocked people were when we'd go to "fancy" restaurants with the kids, especially when the girls were little because they were so close in age. Going to a sit-down restaurant with two toddlers is practically unheard of, at least not if you want them to keep from screaming. However, we practiced happy eating at home, eat slowly and enjoy your food, be happy that you have food, be patient while mom and dad eat, learn to look around and enjoy the world around you!

Another important fact to remember is that we live in the upper third of our lungs, taking in a pint of air with each breath when our capacity is a gallon. Given the points you make, that means we are only taking in a pint of God, His life force, and His spirit instead of a gallon. The deeper connection comes in the deeper breath. If we are to remain in Him fully and completely, then we must breathe Him in deeply!
